I am an amateur composer.

I have a DAWless setup, which means I don't use general-purpose computers in my setup. I do this because I'm a software engineer by day, so the idea of sitting in front of a computer after work does not excite me. Additionally, there's something extremely satisfying about real tactile feedback of dedicated hardware.

My current setup has the following pieces of hardware:

Hardware Function
Tascam DP-24 Multitracker Used for recording audio to multiple tracks
Squarp Pyramid Sequencer
Roland FA-08 Workstation Multitimbral synthesizer, primary keyboard
Teenage Engineering OP-1 Synthesizer
Teenage Engineering OP-Z Synthesizer
Critter & Guitari Organelle Synthesizer
Roland TD-11KV-S V-Drums Drums, midi controller
Fender Guitar Guitar
Zoom G1on Guitar Pedal Guitar effects
Boss RC-1 Looper Pedal Looping for guitar
iConnectMIDI 4+ Facilitates MIDI routing without a computer
Samson S Patch Patchbay
Sony MDR7506 Headphones
